Casa Cimabue is in the Flaminio district, in Rome North (Municipio II), at Via Cimabue 2. The Vatican is about 30 minutes by metro; Piazza del Popolo and the historic centre are about 15 minutes on foot or two tram/bus stops away. We are also convenient for concerts and events: the Auditorium Parco della Musica is about 15 minutes on foot and the MAXXI about 20 minutes. Nearby you can enjoy walks, museums, concerts and events; bars, restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies are within about 10 minutes on foot. Flaminio is a fairly quiet and safe neighbourhood.

Nearby you will find Metro A and tram or bus no. 2. From Termini, take Metro A towards Battistini: in 4 stops you reach Piazzale Flaminio, in 5 stops Lepanto. From Fiumicino allow about 30 minutes by train or 45 minutes by bus; from Ciampino about 15 minutes by train or 35 minutes by coach. For detailed directions, see also our Contact page.

We have four rooms: one double that can become a quadruple, one double that can become a triple, one double for two guests with a French bed, and one single with a single bed. They suit couples, families, solo travellers and business guests. All rooms have a private bathroom and balcony, air conditioning and heating, free Wi-Fi, towels, bed linen, a hairdryer and toiletries, plus a desk with chairs. There is no safe or fridge in the rooms. For access: besides the step into the building entrance hall, there are 5 steps before the lift.

Yes, breakfast is included in the rate. It is served in the breakfast lounge (shared area) on a self-service basis: you will find packaged and bakery items (tarts, ciambellone), fruit juices, yoghurt, butter and jam, plus an espresso machine, fridge, microwave and kettle. Timing is flexible, while respecting other guests’ rest. You may also have breakfast in your room or on the balcony. For intolerances, coeliac needs, vegan diets or other dietary requirements, please let us know in advance.

Check-in is from 11:30 to 19:00; check-out is at 10:00. Early arrivals or late departures must be arranged with us. Luggage cannot be left before 10:30; for collection after check-out, please agree a pickup time. At check-in you pay, hand over your documents and receive the keys. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or shared areas: you may smoke outside on the balcony, keeping the window closed. Please follow normal quiet hours and good neighbourly behaviour. We do not host parties or events; larger groups are welcome within available capacity.
